POLAND AND ITALY VISIT US IN IGUALADA
From the 20th to the 25th of October of 2013 a group of teachers
from Italy and a group of teachers and students from Poland came to Igualada (
Barcelona ).
The Polish students stayed in some of our 4th ESO students’
houses, so that they all could practise their English and they had the
opportunity to know about different European cultures.

During these days we visited different places such us
Barcelona ( Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s Parc Güell, the Barcelona football club
stadium and museum, etc ) , Montserrat Mountains, the Town Hall in Igualada,
The Codorniu Wine Cellars, etc.

We also worked a lot on our Project. For instance, we
made a selection of the best paintings about Mediterranian products that our
Catalan students from Primary School and 2nd and 3rd ESO painted at school in
September.

One day they came to our school and they could see how the Catalan students worked in their classrooms.

We also prepared typical Catalan food for our visitors and we
had dinner together ( so we shared our knowledge of typical and healthy Catalan
products with them ).
It was a wonderful and useful experience for all of us.
We are waiting for our next visit to Poland in May 2014
